The preparations of the perspective employee training programme were started in spring 2007. All the employees were surveyed and managers of the departments presented their offers regarding the training needs. Human resource and training strategy was created. As it became clear that the scope of the necessary training is quite extensive, the company decided to take part in a tender, when an invitation of the EU structural funds was announced to apply according to the activities supported by Human Resource Development Programme for 2007 – 2013. A consulting company “Eurointegracijos projektai” from Klaipėda is assisting in the preparation of an application that would comply with the requirements of the EU structural funds. At the moment the training programme is being elaborated, and the company is waiting for the announcement of the invitation to file applications.
