Membership in organizations

AB “LOTOS Geonafta” has been taking part in the activity of the Eastern Europe Scouting Group since 1993, and it is one of the founders of the group. The group unites more than 60 companies involved in oil and gas exploration, prospecting and production, gas repositories and other related activities. Representatives from oil companies share their work experience and learn about scientific and technological innovations in the field of oil and gas industry during the meetings of the group that take place at least twice a year.

AB “LOTOS Geonafta” is also a member of Lithuanian Committee of World Energy Council.

Some of the specialists of the company AB “Geonafta” are members of EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers). When taking part in annual conferences, they learn about the latest achievements in geology and geophysics.

AB “LOTOS Geonafta” takes part in the scientific conferences of  AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists), wherein achievements and innovations of the global oil companies are presented that are applied in everyday practice.
