AB LOTOS Geonafta invests in both exploration and prospecting of new oil reserves as well as maintenance and increase of oil production from existing fields. In 2009, 10 million LTL was invested into fields development.
 
The company is ready to take part in any tenders for new exploration and production licenses in Lithuania, if such tenders are announced. Besides, the company is constantly examines available information on upstream opportunities abroad, preferably Russia.
 
AB LOTOS Geonafta takes part in the management of the other successfully operating Lithuanian oil companies – it owns 100 per cent of shares of UAB Genčių nafta, 50 per cent of shares of UAB Minijos nafta and 50 per cent of shares of UAB Manifoldas.
